The HH 50 (www.hhcatamarans.com) is a high-performance Cruising Catamaran designed for voyaging with a couple, yet quick enough for the owner to enjoy social Caribbean racing.
While sporting a “standard” high performance Catamaran rig the HH will see a breakthrough in multihull mast jack design. Once the mast jack has replaced turnbuckles (possible with fibre rigging) the setup will be lighter than a rig which is tensioned conventionally with large parts of the mast jack system made in carbon fibre rather than alloy and stainless steel as per conventional designs. Halyard locks from Facnor simplifies handling and saves money on the deck.
