Composite Manufacturing – The right method for every need
At Marstrom Composite, we offer a range of manufacturing techniques to match the performance, scale, and cost requirements of each project. Our strength lies in understanding which method is right – and executing it with precision.
Pre-preg Autoclave Curing
This is our core method, offering unmatched strength, precision, and repeatability. Widely used in aerospace, pre-preg combined with autoclave curing delivers the best possible weight-to-strength ratio and minimal defects.
Vacuum Infusion
Strong and reliable – ideal for larger applications
A cost-efficient technique where dry fibers are placed in a mold and resin is drawn in under vacuum. Suitable for large components where structural integrity is important but ultra-high performance is not essential.
RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding)
Exceptional surface finish – ideal for high-volume production
In RTM, resin is injected into a closed mold under pressure. The result is consistent, repeatable parts with excellent surface quality, suitable for large production runs with aesthetic or aerodynamic demands.
Hand Lay-up (Wet Lamination)
Best suited for simple prototypes or non-structural parts
This traditional method involves manually applying resin to fiber layers. It’s useful for quick, low-cost prototyping or parts without high structural demands.
